Default Ah... Another Toy - AC Jack.

My corroded piece of crap Sears jack gave out completely on me the other day with with only two stands under the car. My wife came through for me with this beauty for an anniversary gift...

AC Hydraulic DK20 Jack

Capacity: 4400 lbs.
Min. Height: 3.1"
Max. Height: 19.7"
Frame Length: 26"
Handle: 37.4"
Frame Height: 6.3"
Width: 16"
Weight: 64.5lbs.

This thing is absolutely gorgeous and so incredibly well made. I never thought I would be so thrilled about a jack - but this is beyond anything I have ever seen or used (a lifetime spent with the Sears stuff). The low minimum height is perfect for my car (which was a real problem before).

It was purchased from Automotive Service Equipment. The have a great sale going on right now for $220 (shipping was $39), service was great and shipping was fast.

i've only heard good things about this jack, but it seems like if one is to pay more than $200 for a jack, it'd better be a badass jack.

That jack looks suite and I notice it lifts a good bit higher than the HF one. Your wife =

sears sells a really sweet aluminum racing jack, really low profile for about $170. looks to be excellent quality and light.

Great jack. I love my Performance Tool sucker. Min. clearance is like 2.5" I believe. It's heavy as hell tho'.

HF 2-tons aren't enough so I've held off on that for now.

Wow...$220 for a jack is pretty high. I guess as long as you don't have to drive your car onto boards in order to jack it's worth it.

If by better deal you mean cheaper than you are correct. That Sears jack is a piece of crap... I owned one. You really do get what you pay for.

how is sears crap, when you compare it to harbor freight.
at least if it does break, i can go back and pick up a new one, try doing that with harbor freght, see if any of you want to go and ship one back
