whoever said making collectors was easy, was......
absolutely positively correct!!!!!!!!!! it took me 10 minutes to think up a jig and took about 30 minutes to make. Minus the trip to the steel mill. 
pics of my homemade collector pieces. Ran out of argon making teh jig so no pics of it completed yet.
collector is 4.25" tall. I wthink i can make even smaller ones too. A little adjusting to the jig and BAM!

who are you to say its right or wrong. no patterns here, its not like you need a pattern for this stuff. fitting 4 circles around a rectangle, its not rocket science... thanks for the input.

he may know what he is doing, but don't you think its a bit arrogant and vague, when someone just says "now do it right", and then doesn't say why? What makes it right and whats wrong? Whats not right about it? The angle? If i am not sure of what kind of manifold i am making yet, how does he know the right angle for it? But its all good, have your way and i will do it mine, but again thanks for the input.
