I have talked to a bunch of guys regarding going to a house I own in WV for a ski meet. The meet is for the weekend of Jan 28th (opie's birthday weekend). At this point in time, I either need to people whom I asked to attend to confirm if they are coming or not. I also am looking for a few others who may be interested in coming along. They are great slopes, nice house to stay in, and free food and beer. Please post if you can confirm that you are coming or if you are interested in coming. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

For those who may be interested: This is on the east coast. The slopes are in West Virginia. The exact location will be kept private to those who are certain to attend. PM for details.

Brandon - Mauna Kea (big island volcano - 14000ft above sea level) got about 8 inches of snow over the weekend.

 

Would you happen to be referring to Winterplace? If so that's a kickass resort.... Keep posting info on this....

Five of my friends and I are going snowboarding this weekend at Snowshoe. I kinda worried about the abnormally warm conditions.

Come on guys... Ferrell? Chris? .. This will be a great time.. and the slopes will be good.. While it might reach 60 in Charleston WV, it MIGHT reach 30 where we are going. Its very high elevation, and they really are good slopes to ski or board on. Plus those that come will get a preview of the twisties down there, for a meet I am planning for the summer. There are some crazy slopes, and some crazy roads down there.

 

I am almost sure I am going.

yea i hope the weather is nice. I gotta help my girl out on the slopes, she has only been skiing once last year. But she will catch on faster this year i hope because of her experience.

Also, how does this place compare to roundtop and liberty?
