Quick question, Will the engine leak oil if I remove the distributor?

I am asking because, I want to remove a distributor to swap parts but I don't want to get oil everywhere in the process. The car has been sitting for a while, will there be enough oil in the head to make a mess? Thanks

no... you'll be fine. it will be a negligiable amount...
