Default Canister Valve

My car was serviced by a Honda dealership and the check engine light was on and the mechanic said because it was a bad canister valve? What is that. My steering wheel shakes when I brake I told them to check my front rotors and pads, They called me and said my rotors were fine but my I need new pads the steering wheel shaking was coming from the rear rotors? I am confused

About the shaking when you brake, sounds like one or more of the rotors needs to be resurfaced or replaced. Sorry can't help ya with the canister valve thing tho. Good luck, and id take it over to a tire/brake specialty shop for the brake issues.

Canister vent shut valve? The ECU closes it to perform tests to see if there are any leaks in the fuel tank and evap system.
