Default Trial user with a question for a moderator

Just had a question regarding a post I made earlier today. It was deleted and I am sure there was a reason for making that decision. I have no qualms, just curious as to the fault I made in the post.
Until my trial period is over, is there a method of contact besides IM such as Private messages or a forward to a private email?
Thanks

This is a cut and paste of my post. Upon finding the IM notifying me of the delete, I copied it for reference to my error or offense.
Thanks

Newbie is glad he found this site.. « » 9:20 AM 1/5/2005 Reply Edit

I wanted to introduce myself and say I am glad I found this site. I just acquired a cherry 94 EX Limited Edition Sedan with only 40k miles! I am looking forward to maintaining and upgrading. Though the other sites are great, lots of traffic, I find most is "off-topic", "sexcetera" or "Can I get 22 inch rims on my 90 Civic?" That may be good for some, but not my cup of tea.
I look forward to learning more about my Accord, since I have been a Detroit steel kinda guy my whole life. Hopefully I can return something beneficial to you all. So, here is my first offer, anyone needing the HELMS Manual for 94-97's in PDF broken into sections. If anyone is interested in having some of this info available to them, please feel free to ask.

This is the Accord Technical forum, not an introduction forum. No biggie though. Welcome to HT

It was probably deleted because it wasn't a technical topic though I've seen other's like yours that weren't deleted.

That was my concern when writing it. I read the rules and such, that is why I offered tech assistance with access to my PDF version of the 5th Generation Helm's manual. I thought that might cover that base.
Thanks for the clarification and thanks for the welcome.

I would be very interested in your Helms manual as I am the proud new owner of a 1997 LX. How do I download it? Can it be emailed to me? Thanks and Welcome to the fourm

most likely because the manufactureers of helms/haynes, etc have crusaded against PDF/CD versions of their stuff being passed around for free.....i realize your just trying to help, but they still wanna sell books

welcome to HT

Thank you...you are correct...I am aware of their copyright, thus I only offer it as a resource. I would not post or offer to post the entire manual on a public site. I only offer access(via email or fax, no unrestricted access) to defined pages needed to begin, troubleshoot, or finish a project on their 5th generation. When I began tinkering on my 66 Olds in HS, the retired GM mechanic down the road offered me his manual, I could Xerox any pages I wanted, but only when I needed them. I am just passing on the same...No offense or copyright infringements intended.
Thanks for the welcomes.
