Default J's Racing intake fading?!

Anyone else have a problem with their intakes fading? The carbon fiber has begun to discolor in some spots. I bought it used for a great price and it was fine, over time it has just gotten worse and worse. I would be pissed if I paid the full amount for this thing and it did this.

It might just be a clear coat around the intake, just have it clearcoated.
