Default Few Questions from a New Prelude Owner

Well I have just got my first Prelude, and it feels great, but I have a few questions.

Firstly I am in the UK and have a Singapore import, its an Auto 93/4 Model 2wd what ever generation that is (can you tell im new to this) its a rh drive with km/h on the clock display only.

first question is, what is the easiest way to convert the clock from k's to mp/h without actually changing the display, i've seen things on ebay that you connect to the ecu or something which just adjusted the speedo arm to go up in mp/h and not k's... any good? anything better?

second one is, when driving the electrics go out and come back on in the car, it also pulls the seatbelt when it does it too, this does not happen very often.

third is, when braking the gearbox changes down but not smoothly, down to 2nd and 1st it kind of shunts you forward a little - is this normal or is there something wrong with my gearbox/braking units?

forth and last thing, when i go over bumps the rear drivers side has a banging or clunking sound, the guy i got the car from said it was the antenna but im not sure, until i have the car looked over.

but apart from that the car is in great condition. its done about 134,000k is this good for its age?

also any normal problems i should look out for? servicing etc.

cheers for any help and answers!

Tom

1. There's mph on the speedo...look.
2. You have a grounding problem. track it down.
3. Change your auto tranny fluid
4. shock knock, do a search on it. or check out your antenna if that's what he said it is.

My import lude was also in KPH, and i bought the kph to mph convertor from the back of jap performance mag (or banzai) from my local shop i think it cost about £50 and took about an hour or so to fit i also came with instructions on how to de-restrict the car by simply connecting 1 wire from the convertor to the ecu. hope this helps.

Nice one, cheers for the replys, I will investigate on the speedo box thing, and will have to take my prelude to get the other bits sorted then.

anyone know any good sites for parts and custom mods in the UK?

also any sites that do interior parts like door handles etc as I would like to replace some.

thanks again!
