Default are the 7th gen accords dbw

topic...are the new accords (4cyl) drive by wire? ...instead of throttle cable. What about the v6s?

Our '03 4-cyl LX is NOT drive-by-wire. Probably true for all 4cyl, 7th-gen. I think the V-6 is dbw, but I'm not sure.

BTW, drive-by-wire doesn't mean there's no throttle cable. Our '01 Saab is dbw, and there is a normal-looking throttle cable. But the cable drum isn't connected to the throttle shaft. There's a positioner or stepper motor in between. That way it can lock itself together when it goes into limp-home mode.

thanks man. I never looked under the hood that close at a 7G.
What about the fuel return? IS there one or is it returnless?
