1990 Accord won't start, how likely is it that the coil is bad?
Like the topic states, I am working on a 1990 auto accord ex, it will not start and is getting no spark. How often do these go bad? and what else could it be? Thanks in Advance
Here are the most common issues with a honda that does not start:
1 distributor is bad (most common)
2 fuel pump is bad
3 worn spark plugs
4 main relay is bad
5 ECU is burned out
Now, if you are not getting spark, is the coil at least getting some voltage?

replace your ignitor unit...those always go bad, and if its not that its the coil...and for the money you might as well go with the msd external...
I'd bet money the distributor is bad.. on my 90 accord it went bad I replaced it and the rebuilt one I got went bad in less than month. I got a free replacement for the rebuilt one but still was a hassal.
