d16y8 head question.. Last que I promise!
Any visual markings on a y8 head that will tell me the year or any other info? So far all I know is it has p2j-1 on the ex mani side and on the right it says 96. Im assuming this tells me its a 96? Please help me and my dumb ques, just dont want to be screwed before buying this head. I also have the ECU markings if anyone wants to decipher them for me if youd be so kind

well if its a d16y8...you know its between the years of 96-00. I don't think there is any actual way to tell what year the head was made. I'll go check mine to see if the side says 97...lol never looked at that.
