Default axles, how offten do they knock on you

these are my third pair within 1-2 year period, regular driving...on h&r sport springs...good thing i got lifetime warranty on them

mines are starting to knock also...how much did u get ur pair for and where did u get em at? Imma need some soon

Axles should be lasting quite a long time. Much longer than a year or two, thats for sure.

mines knocks, but the mechanics claims it isnt from the axles. because, if an axle is messed up, u shoudl hear it clicking when u turn.

peeps from this board suggested that it can be my struts or ball joint.

also if its the axle, you can prob easily inspect it by turning the wheel and checking the CV boots, no?

If you here it clicking when you turn then that means its the cv joint which is inside of the axle and its a lot easier just to replace the whole axle rather than just the cv joint

autozone has them, forgot how much but they wont sell it to you if your car is drop...just lie and say your car is stock ....guess they go out faster when your car is drop
