Default How do I know that my catch-can/PCV is doing its "job"

Ive heard that ventilating crank pressure is very important. I setup a catch-can/PCVthrough the plugs on the rea of the block...how how can I tell if its working as it should?

-how's your oil consumption.

-you can test your pcv individually to make sure it's still functioning properly (vacuum from manifold flows through valve, pressure from manifold closes up valve).
