how do you clean the inside of the headlights to get rid of the water marks left by condenstaion inside our headlights? without leaving more water marks after air drying?

well....water is caused by deposits in the water, so if you rinse it, use filtered water to make sure it doesnt have minerals in it, but then chances are that it will condense again. The best think is to probably open it up to clean it really well, then reseal it with sealant.

I've never heard of that but it might work, the alcohol would help the water evaporate faster(kinda like the stuff you put in your ears after you've been swimming for a long time under water.) I had the same problem and I just took the headlight housing apart and dried it and cleaned it out real well and sealed it back up. Problem solved

I highly suggest putting the headlight in the oven to get it opened up and actually cleaning the inside of the lens. To reseal, just reheat in the oven and push it back together.

I think that some headlight condensation problems are a result of the headlight being TOO sealed up. Moisture that gets inside has no way to escape. My bi-xenon projectors have decent sized holes on the back near the bulb, but I've never had any condensation problems. Air can flow freely in and out, especially when the car is moving.

Tell me about it, I've been fighting trunk water leaks for 2-3 months now, my alternator went kaput the weekend before Christmas, and now today my ABS system stopped functioning.

Sounds like hell. When I bought my GSR the previous owner forgot to mention the leaking drivers side taillight. A little weatherstripping from home depot took care of that though.

Replace it with a another headlight that has no crack for water or air to get into the lens.

rubberstuff that goes between two surfaces to keep air and water out. like the rubber that goes on the edge of your car door.

Damn I was having the exact problem. Those were my first pairs of headlights too.
So much condensation then it leaked. When I took it out, almost a gallon of water pour out. I figure this would be a waste of my time besides they were crack too and the mounts were gone. I was so lucky to find a new oem pair from a friend parting out his integra. Good luck to you
