i was wondering what size rims can i put on a v6. sedan. I was looking at a set of 17*7 with a 40mm off set how much of an offset do i really have to go before i rub. i also am looking to drop my car 2-2.5" all around. Guys what sould i look for

 

That setup should work fine and look good. I've seen 18" and even 19" wheels on those cars. 18's are the biggest I'd go. 45mm offset also fits I believe, I'm not sure though, not too experienced with your gen. What kind of wheels are you looking to get

 

I have 18s on my 1999, 4 cylinder. They do not rub. Running 225/40/18 tires.
