Default Hey guys, do you think this is a good deal?

Hey guys, I may have my future car here. I got a guy that has a 98 CW Type-R, 49K miles on it and bone stock. He wants 19K for it. Do you guys think it's worth it? If no then please let me know what a reasonable price is. Thanks in advance for any comments.

P.S. - Thanks for fellow H-T for looking out for me! I was about to purchase a another CW 98 but after having other H-T members check it out for me they told me that it was ragged out been in a minor accident and maybe even had some major body work. to everyone!

That may be a little high - but if the car is super clean, well kept, and you want it- go for it. You may be able to talk him down a bit...

Hungster,
Jon, SwiftTypeR, is talking about my car . It's a 1998 ITR with just under 48K miles on it. I'm in Houston, but I go back to school in San Antonio on Sunday. List of mods:
CTR intake cam
Spoon front and rear strut bars
gunmetal instead of CW rims
K&N filter or AEM CAI
PYR port and polished head
JDM 4-1 and Carsound 2.5" cat/Godspeed OBD II 2.5" testpipe
Tein NA's or Stock ITR shocks+Tein S-Tech medium springs
Momo airleather shift **** with H insert
Autometer Tachometer with shift light that I'm going to take off

I think that's pretty much it.....If you want to come check her out sometime gimme a call. I'm also going to an RSX/ITR/S2K meet on the 12th on the northside of Houston. IM me if you want my cell #. I'm going to be taking some pics today of the car, so I'll try and put them up online later on.

Jon L.

Not bad but a bit expensive. Maybe 17-17.5k value to me.

I think it's a bit high, too. I just picked upa 98 R w/ 23k miles for 19k. I thought that was a bit high, but it included a lot of bolt ons and is in excellent shape. you can do better if you're willing to wait.

Just to update: That CW 98 R that was listed for 15K was sold to the first buyer that contacted him. Damn that sucks!

Oh well, I found out that I am going to get 9K for my Civic from the insurance. I guess that's pretty damn good for a 97. The search is really on now. I'm hoping to find an R within the next week or so.
