regardless of how big the intake is, there are vey good gains on the dyno. if you want a "bling" intake, go for the AEM or something.

I (and many others) do not have this intake because we are looking for bling points at the local car show thank you very much. This intake is very well designed in my opinion and in particular really helps with the throttle response. Throttle response equals an improved driving experience, a more responsive and willing car, and the ability to better balance the car with the throttle.

I could care less about a few HP here or there by maybe using a different intake - it isn't always about HP.

check out the sponsors, memoryfab sells a copy for much less.
waiting for them to have the abs on for gsr's

it might not be bling but i'd rather not have a cia and have a chance to hydrolock, considering i live in a flooded area

I guess the Mugen's out of the question, then.

thanks!!

...and this intake looks sweet and is a nice complement if you have other carbon fiber parts under the hood or even on the exterior of the car. Aside from this dyno charts have proved that this intake delivers more power than most intakes.

I spoke to memoryfab. They said they are working on a abs model intake but not in carbon fiber. A carbon fiber one is unlikely.

I looked in to that and from what I can remember it does not fit (it must not since I don't have on on my car). Your best bet is to get a K&N filter.

People spend a bunch of money on a Header $500-1000 But then think an Intake should be $100. I'll never understand why someone would think that an intake is so unimportant. I've had the J's and I've had the Mugen, both beat all the other popular intakes I've owned hands down.

BTW The J's CF Intake is only about $40-50 more than an AEM CAI or Comptech Icebox with Filter.

I love this intake. Huge difference in throttle responsiveness between this and my AEM CAI.

Does the J's beat the Icebox on the dyno?? Anyone?

Maybe I'll be able to pick up an intake with my expo refund....
