How do I change my transmission fluid?
Sorry for such a noob thread....
But
I tried a search but some of the threads posted pics that don't work anymore.
I have a 01 Prelude (ss) with about 60,000miles and I drive it pretty hard (AutoX every month)
Thanks!
Daniel

I did a search and found this pic thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=887493Base or SH model prelude
You have an SS tranny. So you want to change the fluid do you-take it directly to your Honda dealer. You have 2 choices. They can either do the full 7 quart reverse flush -$100-(recommended with your mileage and usage) or the 3 quart drain and fill for $50. Keep one thing in mind-there are NO filter screens that you can service. If you don't reverse flush according to the maintenance schedule you not getting the bits that are in there out. I strongly recommend you have a dealer do the full service and use only Honda tranny fluid because they do have the correct equipment.
