Granted it is a Honda, but an overwhelming majority of the ones for sale around my area are all high mileaged ones. Most are in the 40k range. Should I keep looking for one with low miles or are these engines the typical long lasting honda engines that the company is known for?

theoretically, as long as they kept up with maintenance you should be fine. whats your price budget like?

 

don't want to go over 25ish, lookin to get an 02-03 so my range should be sufficient to find a nice one

there is this local 02, black/black, 40k miles for 17.9k .... so I was a bit hesitant, it is from a independent dealer though

 

for 25k you can get low mileage. i have seen 02's with 20k miles sold for 22-23k which is right in your ball park. try http://www.s2ki.com plenty on there in the "for sale" i would be patient until you find one you really really like. good luck

 

Very concerned....high reving motors....who ever buyz it...punches the **** out of it...i got a 2000 s2k...with 28k miles

 

i bought my 02 S2000 in june for 22k, had 23k miles at the time. It has the extended warranty on it for 7yr/100k. Hope that helps!

 

Keep searching around and youll find a good deal.

I got my 03 with 3k miles for 26k

 

I know of one for sale with less than 10k miles. I don't recall the color, but it's an '02. I can get more info if you want it.
