Need opinions on what to do next.....
Okay, I have an 89 crx hf. I've been working on this car for a while and am wondering what I should do next. Just wondering what you would do next if it was your car.

You already have an LS motor, and I'd take that ANY day over a b16.
So, in my opinion, I'd focus either on the interior or exterior, depending on whats in need of more help.

the only problem with the ls motor is that it is leaking oil all the time.

-rear sway bar

-header & exhaust
-cams or vtec head
Not necessarily in that order.</TD></TR></TABLE>
i don't have the mounting brackets for a rear sway bar, otherwise i probably would have done it by now. i love my wheels so i don't think i'll ever get rid of those. also i don't want to do the machine work for mating a v-tec head. i do need a header & exhaust though. cams would be nice, but again my ls motor leaks oil, so if i got cams it would be for a b16a. i would really like to do a b16 with CTR pistons, CTR cams, and maybe some dual valve springs. nothing major. i still want this to be a reliable daily driver.

i don't know. that's the problem. it's from underneath somewhere.

Maybe you can get some dye and add it to your oil. A special light is used to locate the leak.
Or you could clean the motor up really good and when the oil returns maybe you can pinpoint the leak.

i changed out the main seal before i put the motor in. i'll check the other two though. thanks.

CTR is a pretty high comp considering he sprays.
I'd do-->
V-tec head
Rods
pistons w/ descent comp (cause if you do v-tec head it'll be like 9:1)

get a performance header and exhuast on there so that bitch can breathe.
then do whatever visual **** you want.
then boost it.
if i had a time machine, ls/turbo would be in my car instead of this b16a.

x3 I have to say, keep the LS. I have an LS as well.
If you get it the B16 tranny, it will out-accelerate a similar B16 equipped CRX anyways. And yes I have seen this happen at the track. Point is, a B16 has less torque than a freakin Kia I believe... keep the LS engine dude, just get that leak taken care of, get good gearing, and you'll be good to go.
