Default Transmission making weird noise...

I'll try and keep this short.

First some background...
The 2003 Si has 56k miles on it. It's not modded enough to destroy a clutch (lowered, exhaust, intake) I just got the car back from the dealer a few hours ago. The clutch was not completely disengaging. The pressure plate broke around one of the springs, probably from heat as it was blue and purple. The friction surface looked like it was in decent shape though. Also got a new friction disc, slave cylinder, TO bearing, and a spring. I'm guessing the slave went bad and the heat from the clutch not disengaging all the way is what lead to a lot of the damage.

Now on to the problem...
The car shifts fine now but makes a whirring/whining noise in 2nd and 3rd gears. I noticed it most while slowly accelerating around a corner from a crawl in 2nd gear and continues to make the noise after I straighen out the wheel. It usually does not make the noise when traveling in a straight line. The noise gets higher pitched (faster) as I speed up. I notice the same noise while coasting in 2nd or 3rd gear, especially around a curve, without the brakes on. It seems to be the worst at lower speeds (or i can just hear it more over my exhause, i'm not sure). I know it did not make this noise even when I was driving it to drop it off at the dealer's service department. It's pretty loud, and very noticable outside the car.

Anyone have any ideas as to what it might be before I take it back to the dealer and have them ride with me to replicate it?

Take off your wheels and check if your axle nuts are tight. If they didn't tighten them then your wheel bearings could be going bad. Another thing would be your fluid. Check your tranny fluid because if it is low, it will make noise. You should check it as soon as possible because once the damage is done, it's done and there's no going back. No synchromesh will help you stop the grinding and whining then.
