Hi guys I would like to know if anyone tryed them ? they look to be good quality product at an agressive price except that they are not adjustable... but if they are well built by someone who know his stuff and did a great valving setup it could be okay for the street in my case.

I want to know if the people who bought them like them or not please, quality, dampening force, rideability, installation etc

Are they built in the USA or they are importation ?

So please I need advise on this suspension setup especially the street version...

I have the street version on my DB. I have yet to have any problems though I would like more dampening (im picky) For the price, I think they are hard to beat, street ride is pretty stiff which I like, sometimes on cali highways I may jump outta the seat here and there, but I wouldent trade it back for a stock ride. One thing is that spring seem to 'sag' but this may only be mental construction for I havent heard of such 'sagging' from others that have the same suspension

if you want more dampening go outside (it's raining in SoCal) . . . . if you want more damping get new shocks JFWY

I went w/ the 12k/18k set up for my "street/drag" car. I guess I will found out how they work, I havn't installed them yet. I was very impressed w/ the quality for the price though. The fit an finish looks really good. Im not too worried about the bump characteristics, just rebound. I saw a car running them at nopi finals and the suspension travel looked healthy so i figured what the hell i'll give them a try.

I'd be willing to bet the majority of people who buy adjustable suspensions have no idea how to set them up (not implying that I do either ), or take the time to get it setup properly for their typical type of driving

got a link to that post? I've been waiting to hear what people "in the know" have to say about these. Sure they look nice, but I can't see 'em from the driver seat.

I said for the street in my first post... I know that for the track I would look into an adjustable suspension...

Not well really. Not adjustable, very simple curve and mono-tube will make it ride harsher I expect (but haven't driven on it). I would say that the Omnipower wopuld stack up pretty well against the lower priced non-adjustable units and some of the cheaper adjustables. It is not a great shock from what I saw, just better than a low of shocks that come in kits at that price range. Most kit shocks in that range (and some higher priced) are total junk. I am not concerned about the Omnipower as competition for the Koni Sport even off the shelf- an apples and oranges comparison if real funciton is expected

I wouldnt trust information from people that havent owned the item...

Dont give information when you havent used it.

 

omni makes reat suspension! our shop sreet car has them and we are very happy with them..

No, but if you know shocks very well, you will know what to expect based on its construction.

No one has stepped up to send a set to Koni or Eibach for testing...... even though "omniman" lives 20 min from eibach.

what do people mean when they say STIFF? Im confused on what is being inplied here.

 

In a thread a Koni rep states that for the price and the quality of the shock, Koni could never offer that type of shock for the price OMnipowers are going for. I currently am at work and will provide the thread a little later.

One more thing ,I love my Omnipower suspension 10k front 8k rears. Best 600 bucks I have ever spent on my car, next to my AN-R header.

Huh? What do YOU mean by stiff?

My Omni Sport 12k/10k is perfect for the street on my ITR (comfortable, stiffer than stock, not underdamped). I like the construction and adjustability of height. I imagine it will do acceptably well at the track, we'll see. I'll be at VIR in February.

Still need alignment and corner weighting. I haven't picked a ride height yet, and want to finish that after I get the height right. (Right now .75" down in front, 1" down in rear.)

 

stiff as in rates and ride quality , every omni car ive been in have not been stiff at all....
