Default questions about swap

i got a 88 duel point crx ,in order to swap to a b16 what do i do about the duel point .

p.s. i searched didnt really find this everything was doing a swap in an si.

If you get the whole swap,all you gotta do is add a 88-91 SI resistor box and wire up vtec

and wire up the MPFI to the resistor box

How about I state it more clearly as you do a MPFI conversion and then worry about VTEC as just adding the resistor box with the swap will result in an improperly wired fuel injection system.

let me get this straight . im gonna order a complete swap and when i go to put it in, what all wireing will will need to be done ? seeing as i have the dual point crap.

yes. the engine harness with the fuel injectors and one of the plugs on the distrobutor is different (between a dx and an si) so you have to get a resistor box, plugs for the 4 fuel injectors, and the distrobutor plug. i could list off how to do it, but im sure that link says it better than i could explain it. plus you have to run wires for vtec too

ya the b16 swap should come with the plugs you need to rework your engine harness with those additions... but ya do lots of research before you actually do it so you have a good idea of what to do.
