yO heres the deal. I got another DOHC ZC to replace my piston knocking one for real cheap. The problem is with the DOHC ZC thats in there right now. I was driving it for a few days after i started to hear some sort of knocking at high RPMs. Well luckily it supposedly died in my driveway, and everytime I would try to start it,it would crank over, but not fire up. I checked the ECU and yup one of the black plugs fell out. Plugged it back up and since my batt. was dead i got jumped by my pop's car, turned the key and bam fired up 1st try! I revved it up like 3-4 times and died again
So now it starts up for lil bit and then dieds, also when i give it gas, its like im not. So please i need to diagnose this. I was thinkin it could be the Alternator, but i dunno. I might be able to salvage this motor. So any info. is appreciated. TIA
*I shot a vid of the problem, so if some1 could host it for me, it might be easier to diagnose, thanks*

well yea i gave it gas when it initially fired up, but then it died. started it up again and it was like the gas pedal didnt work.

Lets see here...
Get a fuel pressure gauage, put it on the filter, see if its getting adequate fuel pressure, should be around 36-40 PSI at idle, and go up with the RPM. Check that out, see if its good, if not check your fuel filter or your fuel pump. If its fine there, then go to the fuel injectors. Get a set of noid lights, check each injector one at a time, make sure its pulsing good.
If thats good, then check spark plugs, cap, rotor, all those things.
Now you mentioned your alternator, one way to check is get a DVOM(voltage meter), get the car started, disconnect jumper cables, hold the RPM up so that it dont die, and you should get about 14.5 volts if the alternator is good, check and see if for some reason you threw an alternator belt, and maybe its not charging. If you have any questions about anything, PM me.

ok, i think that you may have jumped a tooth on timing on the crankshaft. double check that first. if not, check for vaccum leaks, also check to make sure that the valve lash is set correctly.
only other thing i could think of is the distributor has possibly gone bad
