Legend/NSX front caliper question
so if legend or NSX calipers can be used with EX knuckles and rotors, could it be possible to just use those calipers on stock Si rotors? i know the rotors arent as big, but maybe it would fit even if tight around the top hat, or needing a bit shaved.
btw, anyone have a pic of the EX/NSX combo?

I do as i was going to do that upgrade on my 98 civic ex coupe before i crashed it. Never got it on. the caliper bolts up it is the matter of the disc. since the NSX is 5 lug you need to redrill it at 4x100. if you use teh stock NSX rotor it is 11 inch diammter like the ITR but it is 28mm thick while the respective ITR rotor is only 25mm. very good for road racing or autox interms of brake fade. big *** heat sink. anyway if you do use the stock NSX rotor, the hat is really really shallow compared to the civic hats. (if you dont know what the hat is ask me) so if you can imagine the hat being shallower that then brings the effective disc outwards away from the center of the car. since it moves outward you will need to compensate by shimming the caliper also outward.
If you use ITR rotors and NSX calipers then the rotor surface is brought inwards and there is a 2mm clearance issue. the caliper needs to be brought in 2mm. you will need to grind away 2mm of surface area from the caliper. hope that helps.
also dont forget that my ex knuckles are different you will need similar knuckles like DC integ to get teh disc and caliper to fit.
oh might I suggest you use legend calipers? only for the sake that they are cheaper. like 100 bucks for the pair. NSX are like 250-300 for the pair. jsut for the caliper. Also not that this really matters but the legend caliper pots are larger in diammeter. I dont see why some people think that is better. if you look at 4 pot calipers the pots are smaller than stock civic pots. heck stock civic pots are larger than legend or nsx. it is just you want two for more even pressure.
One plus side to the NSX besides bling factor is that they have cooling bumps/fins on the caliper
