Default antenna options

i did a search and got various answers but want more. during the cold winter months my stock antenna seems to have trouble going up and down, sometimes stuck halfway other times a quarter down. u can hear the motor working but the antenna aren't going up and down smoothly. i hear about s2k antenna, how much is a good stock used one? i see a lot of them being advertised on ebay, they have to be knockoffs right? what are the installation instructions and how difficulty? thanx. i have 95 sedan v6

I have no idea about the s2K antenna, or even the stock one (my '99 has an inglass antenna), but just wanted to point out that crutchfield sells aftermarket antennas, with installation instructions. Check out their prices before buying on ebay. Also check out the dealer's price, you might be suprised (I doubt it, but it's possible).

You could just replace your antenna with another power antenna, but do you think it wont happen again ??

you can get a fixed antenna for $20 shipped

On my truck I just bought an antenna that didn't go up and down of course it never had a power one. I like it a fair amount and it seems to work pretty well and is pretty stylish. I got it at an autoparts store. I would buy from Crutchfield though they just didn't have one to fit at the time. Well anyway the one I got is black you could also get it in chrom I will go see if I can get a picture.

There is a picture although it is small. Photobucket resizes images over 250k and resized that one pretty small. You can see where it goes up a straight the curls around and goes up some more. Overall I like the look a lot. Wasn't hard to install on there but I had to remove the headlight and grill and side fender and wheel and stuff to get to where to install it. I don't know about the Accords as mine has it in the rear window.
