I read it in the newspaper today. It should have the engine of the Civic type-R. LSD is standard. The weight to hp ratio should be better than on a Lotus Elise o:

Someone please translate it for us.
I heard/read something about it several months ago and I asked my JDM source and seems like Honda is working on a LIGHT car with good(read good, not big) hp. Most current info is that it will be a 1.4 I-VTEC with about 140hp, yeah, it's not that great comapre to ITR' 195, but heck, it will be less than 1000kg. Which should give it a pretty good hp/wt ratio. And the style seems appealing to me too.

do you think Honda will incorporate their IMA system?
looks like all their future cars will have it
that would be nice, 140hp with perhaps a 15-20hp electric boost

That 103kw power figure refers to the Honda Accord, not the CRX. My German used to be fluent, I am doing my best to re-read the article and translate it for you all.

you can use http://www.babelfish.com to translate if someone wants to type it in
103 kW = 138 hp
The car will weigh in under 850kg !!!! 103kw doesnt look to bad now eh...
I heard that there will be a new CR-X based on the current Fit platform, but not a type r...the styling will be similar to the EF.
