I just bought a 91 std, and i cant get the seatbelt to come out when the door is shut. I just noticed today it comes out freely when the door is open. I guess i could put my seatbelt on first then shut the door, but thats a lil gh3y

I took the doorpanel off, and i'm looking up there, but i can't seem to see whats going on when the door is shut, and why it locks the seatbelt.

Anybody else ever have this problem?

 

take it to a dealership, there was a recall on the seat belts, just a while back, on h-t a lot of people started doing that, and it doesnt cost anything to have them replaced since they were recalled

 

unless your located in canada, than that recalll does not apply to you
