RC 750's too big for LS/TURBO@10 psi?
Ok, My question... are 750 injectors too big for my application? Can i tune them down and run right? My friend has a set of these and i can get them for cheap. He also has a aem fuel rail and aeromotive fpr. would i need these with my set up also? I'm gonna be running Hondata s200b. I was previously looking at 440 or 550's. I also want room for improvement. I'm hoping for like 250 or more hp id like to be around 400 in the future. Let me know if you need anymore info. TIA
Here is my setup so far-
Stock b18b1
Precision sc34 turbo 57 trim .63 a/r
Neukin equal length manifold
Tial 38mm wastegate .7 bar (about 10 psi)
3inch downpipe
3inch thermal exhaust
Hondata s200b
Walbro 255 hi pressure fuel pump
Johnny race car 8 inch fmic
2.5 inch intercooler pipes

If you are going to be running a hondata later than it wont be a problem, the 440's would be a better choice since you are only running 10 psi it would be unnecessary to use the 750's. at 400 hp the 550's would work fine, you could squeeze the 440's to do it but I always like to be able to just turn the fuel pressure down or decrease the pulse width and beable to have plenty of injector left over
you should be able to run with those injectors by turning it with the hondata, however you might have a few problems with your idle, it would be better to use a slightly smaller injector such as a 440 or 550cc maybe. The 550's would also be very good to use once you make more upgrades to reach 400hp, thats what i use and it works very well.

I'm gonna be running hondata right away. So would the 750's be ok then? I wanna turbo it up to 15 psi after i get pistons and rods. Instead should i just buy some 440's? Cause im not gonna be able to get the 550's til next year when i build the motor. That is if the 750's are way too big.

with out any enigne managment the 750cc will be very very rich even at low psi. I would suggest getting the 440cc and using them you might not have a problem even when you turn the boost up, if you do there are always people looking for them or willing to trade

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid any idle problems. So the 550's would be a better choice for me maybe. Would you recomend a fuel rail or the aeromotive fpr or can i just use the walbro 255 fuel pump. I've seen someone on here with the same setup with me and he had the 550's and fuel pump only and he made 300 whp @ 14.5 psi.

I have ran 550's with stock enigne managment and it is rich but not bad. If you ran an aermotive regualtor you could turn the fuel pressure down and it sould be fine. I would run a AEM rail , AEM or aeromotive regulator and the 550's. The 300hp question, it all depends on the tuning, setup, turbo, etc...

Ok, i might have to pick these 750's up and trade for some 550's or something. I'll prob pick up the aeromotive fpr and fuel rail for cheap, and my set up is in the first post so check it and let me know what you think.

NO! Get those 750cc and install them since you are tunign it with Hondata, if a tuner cant get the 750 to idle well then he shouldnt be tuning at all. There nothing wrong with running 750cc and running 10psi, you should be around 260whp+ at 10psi with the .63 SC34.
the 750cc will be fine with the hondata , thats not the problem, the main issue if he is going to run them right now is no engine managment and a really rich idle and throught the band, if he used the fuel pressure regulator to turn the fuel pressure to like 20 psi he might get away with it. If he is running them right now 440's
if he is going to wait 550's or 750's with hondata
if he is going to wait 550's or 750's with hondata
He mention that he will be running Hondata right away so im assuming he going to tune the 750cc with it. But if he running some kind of hack or whatever i dont think he would be able to lean 550 out enough, so i the 440cc would be better if he running hack. I would buy the 750cc and run hondata with it, no need to switch out and buy new injector later.
**** i got 750's and Im at 60% duty cycle at full boost (1 bar).. Its like buying an XL when u need medium, trust me you will grow into it
I'm running MSD 756 at only 10psi and have no problems. It was tuned with hondata s200 and also aem. No problems with my idle.
with the hondata, the 750's will work fine and will work for upgrades in your set-up later...that way you don't have to buy new ones later on to make more power
a good tuner will be able to make them idle perfectly fine
i had 1000cc using hondata and they idled fine

same here... if u have a good management system... it should be no problem running them.
