Burning more oil when it's cooler out?
Does anybody else have this problem. Im using catrol 5w/30 and I have no oil on the dipstick the past two times I changed my oil. I dont have any leaks and this is the second time it has done this.
Started when winter came around. Is this common? I live in South Florida, so cooler, I mean like 50-70 deg F

How many miles on your caR and what type of mods do you have?
Cold weather cold have something to do with it (contracting) but I doubt such a small temp change would do it.

no its because you most likely drive like a rockstarRRR... I have had similar problems in Jamlando.
Dont sweat it just add oil.

I really don't think that the cold weather has anything to do with it. I've been daily driving my 97' for 2.5 year now and I still burn 3/4-1 quart of oil every oil change. I really have no explanaition for it and I have accepted this as part of owning a hype R.
