Default Trannie question re: atf replacement

In a 1997 Accord LX 2.2 L auto transmission, how many quarts of atf are needed to change fuild, I have heard 2.5 and 3......

Also, do you all use a torque wrench? If so what is the NM needed for the trannie drain bolt?

Just had my 1997 accord lx done. Carquest drained and put in 3 quarts. I checked and had to remove 1/2 quart as it was overfilled. I had told them it would take 2.5 quarts based on replies on this fourm. People just don't lisen sometimes. You guys where very right! Don't know about torque but would not think it is critical. If it leaks tighten more. If it still leaks get a new washer. Usually my thinking.
