I just got a 1991 CRX and wanted to put a new engine in it.....what the strongiest engine that will fit in there....and how much dose it cost....Website?

 

Not a good way to start out without using the search feature. You'll find "100's" of threads of the exact same question.

 

do a little more research first.... then come back with a more refined question.... i'm sure if you do a search you will find what you are looking for

first off.... let me flame first.

you can put any engine in there if you have the money. hell put in an NSX motor midship and boost it.

now helpful info.

please do a search and do some homework on what you are hoping to accomplish. Like are you looking for a 1/4 mile monster? a daily driver with a good powerband? a road race car with a peaky top end?

then comeback and ask for some input from us on what we've done to our cars and opinions on what was best for what application.

 

I'VE SEEN GUYS CRAMMING THE RSX MOTOR WITH THE 6-SPEED TRANNY IN THERE.AS FAR AS COST...I DON'T KNOW,BUT PROBABLY HIGH!!!!!!!!

 

b18c1 (GSR) swaps can cost alot, but they can be decent priced. the average price im seeing for a complete swap is 2800, and 3400 for a b18c5 (ITR). Hasport is developing (dont know if they finished?) mounts for the k20 to go into 87-92 civics.
