Default HID retrofit into halogen headlights housings, help

I wasn't sure where to put this, but its sort of fab work. Move it if you want.

I've done a retrofit into '98 Integra headlights, but that was simple since they already had projectors to begin with. Now I want to retrofit HID projectors into my '04 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has normal halogen lights so it's a lot different. Are there any write ups for that type of install?

i am in the middle of/almost done with a halogen-->hid retro. sometimes you can leave the stock reflector in there and just mount the projector to it but i pulled it and mounted to the headlight housing. its all about how much space you have.

Nice write up CJ

Here's a nicely done set of WJ lights, i'm not sure if both are HID or not.

I might try that out but with HID projector low beams, and halogen projector highs.
