b18c1 cam housing bore question
So, I have a gsr head and I am going to be building the head this quarter at school(machining, parts replacing, assembly, etc.). The only potential problem I might have is the cam housing bores look like they have been worn slightly out of round due to(my guess) too much tension on the timing belt. The wear is off to the side on the caps and on the head.
Sorr!!!I will have pictures up to better explain/show what I am talking about either tonight or tomorrow.
So, the question is: Is there anyway to correct this if they are too far off from spec??? Like maybe machining down the top of the head and the caps a few thousandths and then re-honing to spec, or over sizing and having custom shafts made, or from what I have heard get bearings that can go in over sized bores???? Anyone have any ideas for some help???

If you're going to do the machining, I gotta assume you can measure the bores. I think you're asking for a confusing bunch of BS by asking before you measure roundness.
Pics won't mean much either, unless it's a set of pictures of your micrometer readings.
