00-1390 is finally here!!! I love it.
After almost 5 years of wanting a Type R I finally broke down and got one. I bought 00-1390 off of ebay a little over a month and a half ago. Dependable Auto Shippers finally got it here after a long delay. Their 14 day ETA was pushed to 17 days and when I called on day 12 was told it would not arrive by day 17. Damn it. It was shipped day 18 and arrived on this last weekend. about 3 and a half weeks. I'm calling tomorrow to et some money back. (They said I could when it arrived.) If they try to stiff me I will file a complaint with Visa.

Ok, yes. I bought it off eBay and took a risk. But let me tell you, it looks, runs, and drives just as good as the pictures look.
I have driven a couple Type R's, but nothing compares to owning your own. I love that it is all stock, so I can choose all the mods.
I got lucky, and it was in good shape. What do you guys (and gals) think?

Cool, and I think the owner at one time was on this forum too.
Good luck and invest as much as you can in security, especially on the west coast

Ya, I was disappointed about the milage, but considering the price, I had to do it. I just can't afford a 17,000 car right now. My dad's an ASE Master Mechanic so I got the hookup on labor. It ended up being $1175 for shipping and after taxes it was like 12,200. It books out here for like 14,300 I think WITH high miles. It runs great though. I don't know if you read the auction, but the first owner took real good care of it. It looks and feels like it too.
looks to be in great condition, congrats ! the hell with the mileage, as mentioned if whats in the bay was taken care of as well as the interior/exterior you wont be worried about anything for awhile.
