Default rearview mirror

on my 5th gen i knocked my mirror off last night while droping my gf off at her house...............how do i re-install????????

Get some rear-view mirror adhesive from Home-Depot.

i think you can re-install it somehow, im currently using duct tape

its not attached to the windshield by any means. its attached under the dome light

that sucks i did that when i first got my car i thought it was a big deal, but all you gotta do is take the intererior light off and unscrew i think two screws, then unhook the electrical connection from the light and pry the whol plastic piece off. under it will be a bracket that will unscrew, take it of and screw the bolt thats in your mirrow in one side of the bracket and your mirrow on the other side then just screw the bracket back on. I hope you understand that im not the best at explaining things.
