Default Very on topic, yet somewhat off: Theft!

Scenario this morning:

Our 2 95 Civic hatchbacks parked next to one another, as they always are. I walk out to the parking lot to start my routine work day, when I come upon both hatchbacks with no driver's side windows. The white hatch had a decent head unit which I had recently installed, it was stolen. The teal hatch has/had no radio or a/c from the factory, so fawk the theives. Nothing else was taken or disturbed, luckily. However, I can't help but think what would have happened had my R been sitting in the lot

Moral of the story:

Garages are worth it if you have them accessible!!!

Jason- who wishes he would have seen who did this, and who swears he will be in a house no later than March!

My sympathies, ... esp. on the one that got broken into for no apparent reason.

Personally, I picked up my first real "fender ding" (front driver's) in my R at my appartment building the other day!

Odd - Mabye I am just lucky or something, but my car has never been touched.. Back when i used to live in Lorton, I would either park my car on a service road where I could not see it from my house, or in a Hotel parking lot. Nothing ever happened in the 10--11 months that I had it parked here - even though thefts were in the area and stolen/stripped cars would even show up overnight not less than 15 feet from my car!! (Stripped as in no motor, interior, etc..)

ceas..

Jason~

Thieves suck! I felt so violated when my previous car was stripped (while at the dealer for repairs too).

Look at the bright-side....window nets are cheap!

Reminds me of back in my high school days. I had a 92 Prelude Si when I was a junior. Came out one morning and the window was busted.

JVC CD player was in it. The thieves couldn't pull it out so they jacked my face plate for the deck only! Dicks!

Also, they took my radar detector which sucked.

And they got some CD's from me. Yes, SOME. I listen to punk rock, emo, metal, etc... **** like that. I had Death Row's Greatest Hits and some Ice Cube CD's in the car(gangsta rap is )... well, they picked through my CD book and snagged all the rap CD's. Weird, but better than taking the whole CD book.

Some thieves are just strange.

Oh, and they took my stock shift ****.

$$ issues = Will will stay in NC this weekend.

With all of the talking-up of this weekends activities... I think I would wind up in the ICU getting my stomach pumped to prevent death.
