Default ITR Intermediate Shaft w/LSD question

Hello all,
I've got an ITR Motor/Tranny with LSD along with SIR2 b16 axles and intermediate shaft. However, I'm having trouble getting my LSD to function properly. Are the b16 axles/half-shaft compatible with the Type R tranny and LSD, or would I need to buy type r axles/half shaft (even though i've heard they're all the same). The car runs fine, but seems like I'm running with an open differential. Anyone info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are two different shafts , a larger diameter and a smaller diameter. I think the larger came on some GS-R' s and type R maybe B16's but you should not have to have it too have your LSD function. I have heard of factory diffs wearing out ie the outer casings and it running like an open, but that usually happens with people draging it with slicks.
