there is a program called eyeQ, you may have seen the infomercial on TV
it increases the words per minute you can read, by doing eye excersizes

I wonder if it could also make you a better driver
having fast eyes, would be helpful, to autocrossers, and road racers

for autocrossers, it would allow you to scan the course faster

for road racers, you can scan faster, and go from checking mirrors to looking ahead, faster

am I crazy?

 

But, I drive with my eyes closed

I think it may help more with the judging of speed and the line as opposed to seeing other cars.

 

i dunno, focusing on speed reading is a lot different than peripheral vision i think....

 

the program really has nothing to do with reading
the program develps your eye speed
your ability to scan from left to right, and, up and down
