Default omni full coilovers or tein flex coilovers

I have 90 teg which I plan to put suspension on in the next month.I've heard alot of hype on tein flex coilovers.Recently I came across a website selling omni coilovers for a fraction of the price of the teins.I want to hear some feedback from anyone who has them on their car to help me make a decision.

What do you plan to do with the suspension? Remember, the Omni Powers are much much less $$$. Also is $ a factor for you?

I want to get the best suspension for my money.I live on mountain roads which have lots of turns and bumps.I want a suspension that will have good dampening and will give me good steering response. I don't plan on drag racing at all.If I don't have to spend 1500 on teins I really don't want to.I'm just curious if the teins are really worth all the money.

last time i checked neither Omnipower or Tein Flex had an application for the 1990-1993 Teg. . . The only Tein setup for our car is the Tein SS's.

I read if you change the front drop forks on the da's you can use the dc suspension on them.

I just installed my typeR tein flex 2 weeks ago and i love the ride quality. And i cant complain about how much more my integra feels like shes on rails compared to my old tokico spring and illumina setup
tein flex get a major street

Have Omnipower street on my DC and love it. Recommend the Omnipower: they are cheaper and incredibly smooth ride quality unless the roads are pothole-laden and only semi-paved.

I've got Omni Powers on my DC-2 and they are kinda bouncy and bottom out a lot.
I've also got the Tein Flex on my EK and they ride and handle way better. Tein Flex are the way to go if you want to spend the money......but the Omni Powers are probably the best deal.

Yes, it's true. The rears will bolt up perfectly, but the front DA shocks are thinner than the DC/EG ones, so that's why you need to get DC/EG front drop forks. I have 2 extra forks for the right side I think, so if you can find one for the left, anyone can use my 2 extras if you come pick em up. You can usually find a complete pair for $20 or so on h-t or at a junkyard.

As for the shocks, the Tein Flex are damping adjustable, where the Omnis are not. Also, you can buy the EFDC to make it adjustable from inside the car. The 2 setups aren't really comparable unless you make money an issue, then Omnipower is a good buy. You might also look into D2 coilovers, Tein SS, Konis with GC, the Koni Red RSK kit (same valving as yellows, have moveable circlip perches, and are off-car adjustable), or Progress coilovers.

some knowledge for everyone... http://www.drifting.com/articl...itle= personally i would get tanabe SO-C type-2 coilovers since your going to do mostly mountain type driving (off optauto.com they are a steal being not much more than omni's $675 i think)

next car (S2000), i'm getting Flex or higher model Tein. Flex is damping single-adjustable and also height adjustable separate from spring preload. no comparison to Omni, which are only a budget suspension. if you don't have damping adjustability, i hope all the roads by you are smooth. i've had my adjustable illuminas for probably a year and a half or two years, and i can't live w/o damping adjustability.

i'm sorry. they are height adjustable separate from spring preload. i must have been thinking of something else at the time.

ur write up is terrific. already put in my favorites!

and i think id go for the omni coils they seem to be relatively cheap and they put up a good battle with the tein flex. and so if Omni are as good as or nearly as good as tein and 1/2 the price omnis are for sure the #1 choice
