80A battery fuse...???
my fuse box says 80A for the battery fuse but i put a 100A fuse in it...does it have anything to do with all my electrical charge system? cause my altenator doesnt charge my battery for some reason...brand new altenator and battery still good (had it tested)...
you should change that 100amp fuse back to 80amp fuse otherwise, for some reason you short out or crosswiring your battery terminal it will burn your wire instead of the just blow out the fuse. as for the problem you battery not holding the charge. your battery could have a bad cell.
check your battery terminals for tightness, and if you don't mind i'm asking. what did the autoparts store said when they told you that the battery still good. does it holding charge at 12v or over 13v?

Are you shure the altenator is good? The reason you need to put an 80 amp fuse back in the is because the wire that those 80 amps run through is made for 80 amps if you allow more amperage to go through the wire you could have a fire.
What about the the tightness of your belt on the altenator? good luck!!

i know im not getting a charge!!!! thats my problem!!! the belt is tight...the white wire from the altenator to the battery is good...where does the other 3 color wires from the altenator go to? will a higher amperage fuse then the normal amperage fuse cause the altenator from not to charge the battery??
Even though you got a new alternator it doesn't mean that it is good. I have had brand new parts (not reman) that have been faulty right out of the box.
No, a higher amp fuse has nothing to do with your alternator chargin or not.
But I would change it back so that if you have a short you don't start a fire.
