Put web race regrinds in my buddys LS B18B and now lost power????
heres the thing its a 93 ls with web racing regrinds...dont know the specs on the cams,but was told they are for ls high compression..his full valvetrain is stock..other than ported head..heres the thing in every gear he says it pulls good till it hits about 4k then starts bogging like crazy and power dies off...but if he lets off and lets rpm's run down it will pull hard again and die off after 4k again....anyone ever have this problem....need it fixed asap...thanks much...

thanks also car has not been tuned and is being ran on skunk2 racing chip upgrade...dont know if this will help?

Degree the cams. You aren't the only person to run WEB's can have them off by a LOT. I've heard of them being 15 degrees off center!

Sorry if i'm wrong but wouldn't a regrind just move the powerband not increase it? I always assumed a regrind was a factory cam machined to provide a different profile and not make any more power.

why is this in the forced induction forum? Since you said he is running a Skunk2 racing chip it doesn't sound like he has forced induction.

check your timing on the cams. my buddy had his off by a lot, i think by a tooth on cam gear. friend fixed it and talk about a night and day difference. couldnt get the smile off his face after taking it for a test run.

check your distributor and spark plugs. I deosn't sound like a cam problem. make sure you connected up everthing the way it was after you installed the cams.
even if cams werent lined up right, I dont think it would do what you are explaining.
