Default rhino lining trunk?

i was thinking about doing this when i get back. i have all my interior striped in the trunk already. im not buildinga track beast so i dont care about weight. (although it shouldnt weigh THAT much) i just have a mean *** leak in my trunk and i dont want anything to rust. like the little circle where the spare goes. plus i think it would make a nice substitute to carpet. whats your opinions?

I'd say just to fix the leak. It's a lot cheaper than rhinoing your trunk.

Does the rhino lining also help with some noise cancelation??? I was thinking about doing a partial gut on the inside of my car, but i dont want to deal with all the extra noise.

i would imagine that the noise would be sufficently cut. i have a completely freeflowing exhaust header back 2.5 no cat no res with a strait thru muffler. its loud as ****... i rode around stripped for a while everything past the backseats gutted. it was unbearable. i had to put the interior back in. dont know why i did it in the first place i think it looks so rediulous. and the panels are light, the carpets are light, and the seats are featherlight. the only really heavy thing was the spare donut,.. so i took that out lol. but yeah i would imagine the rhino lining (sprayed 1/8th to 1/4 inch thick typically) would do wonders with reguards sound deadening

I was thinking of doing this to my CRX as well, since it is bare in the rear. I'm going to wait to put the 4 pointer in, then do it all at once probably.

As for the leak, I say if you can see where it is coming from, maybe attack it with some silicon or something?

yea i was gonna do the silicone thing once i found it, but i still think therhino lining would lok pretty sweet compared to the bare metal. i went the extra mile and got it stripped of the sound deadening material and got it sanded and painted but i still dont like it anymore. plus with a greddy evo w/ 2.5 piping, it can get LOUD, and monotonious (sp). but yea the lining would be the hotness

if you can afford to rhino line or linex it, give it a shot. it would definately help with noise and maybe, ever so slightly, strengthen up your chassis (not for handling purposes or nothing like that).

i've seen them blow up shacks sprayed with lineX and instead of the walls flying apart, they actually just buckled and still stayed together. http://www.line-xicd.com/video.asp for all those want to see for themselves.

if you do rhino line or lineX the interior of your car, take pics! it would just suck if u ever wanted to put back the missing interior, because you'd be covering up something unique.

Do you guys have proof? If you do, alert the mods, some of them are currently turning in the IP's of scammers and thieves to the police. Judging by his title, the mods are already on to him...

He is probably going to have to rhinoline his car just to make it bomb-proof if he keeps scamming people.
