Default turbo cams which to use

building a turbo head any good advice of which cams are good on turbo ls was thinking about crower 404 but would like all the input thanks

wow......you run the 404's for boost? i guess you use adjustible cam gears to dail out the overlap?

must have a killer power band then......

I went with customer grinded camshafts but not everyone has that option. If I were going to buy camshafts for my turbo LS I would either buy Crower 62402-2 or 62402T-2. Maybe someone can help you out more by posting their dyno sheets, etc.

yes if anyone has dyno sheets i would like to see . the more i see the 402t the more im leaning that way, im going to talk to my tuner and see what he thinks. im shootin for 400+

A friend of mine runs the 404's in his setup, it is sick. They arn't too big for turbo setups (They're 216/218 @ .050, Comp's 4G63 street turbo cams are 212/210 @ .050, so barely bigger) but the problem is they're ground on a 107 LSA, while most turbo cams would be ground on like a 115 LSA. He retarded the intake cam and advanced the exhaust cam (I think I got that right) and it works awesome with his setup, it's a pistons/rods/stock sleeve LS with a fully ported head and a T3/60-1. Idle's just fine at 850, it doesn't have a huge lope to it, but it has a very noticeable burble.

thanks for the reply im still not sure of which ones i want . my set up ross cates mani sc61 gesleeved 84.5mm prec. 100cc skunk2 im hopeing to put down good numbers with one of these cams

any dyno sheets with the 404s in your ls?? i already have them in my car that im bout to be boosting in a week. so i wanna know how good these cams would work with boost and i also have a 255 fuel pump n fuel pressure reg. and AEM cam gears.
