Turbo teg is pissin me off.
Ok i have a tubod B18A1 Block w a B16a head, this week i just recently got a str fuel rail and b&m fuel pressure reg but had 350cc injectors, now im detonating in v-tec (cant go above 5400) and i need to get it retuned (and bigger injectors, also i should probably turn down the boost too.), but the prob is i had my car in the rain today (not sure if that has anything to do with it) but i tuned it off and let the timer run down and turned it back on and my engine light came on and i cant get it above 4000rpm, mean its not like detonating it just wont go it feels like my car is just shutting off like i down shifted a gear.....(also i went back 30min later, it worked perfectly.) just wondering if any of yall could help out with that. Thanx
I'd try to adjust the pressure regulator, it sounds like the pressure may be to low. You could also use a vacuum gun to test the regulator.
Good Luck With it and keep it posted

your story really does not tell us anything at all. what you should include in your story is your setup and what you use for fuel/engine management.
If you never got it tuned with the new fuel equipment, you really should ASAP. Definately take the above's advice. Also, slap a guage on the reg, do you know what pressure you're running? Since the only thing you changed is fuel pressure, that's the only thing that could be wrong.
My set-up is B18a1 block w aB16a head, arp head and rod bolts, je pistons on eagle rods (8:1 compression) crower valvetrain, drage stage 2 turbo kit (12psi w block guard) running on hondata s200 program (w boost) unorthadox crank pulley and aem underdrive kit (dosnt do ****) skunk 2 gears and Full MSD ignition. Thats my set-up.

If you're detonating, then you're running lean. Are you SURE you're detonating (not some other weird noise)? Do you have a wideband 02 with datalogging? How was the car running before you installed the fuel rail and FPR? What are the details on the current state of tune (or the one that was done when you installed Hondata)? AFR range (i.e. 13:1 pre-boost, 11.5:1 in boost)? Any CELs? Are any of your other gauges telling you something weird? Has there been a dramatic drop in temperature and your car subsequently ran like crap? Are you overboosting in VTEC? You should think of all of these things, and more, when trying to diagnose the problem, as they are all possible clues to what's wrong... you may want to address these questions to help track down the problem. There are a lot of others in the FI forum who would be able to help you on this too. Good luck.

I used to have detonation but it turned out to be air bubbles in the cooling system. I drove me nuts for weeks. Make sure there are none in your cooling system. also the fact that your car wount go over 4000rpm mean that you hondata has sliped into some kind of safe mode? will it make bost like this?
