whats the difference between a 96-98 and 99-00 floor harness?
the reason i ask this is becuz i have everything necessary to do power window conversion in my 99 hatch, except for the floor harness. Its been a bitch hunting one down, so im just gonna go to the dealer. majestichonda.com has a 99-00 ex floor harness for $168, but the 96-98 ex harness is only $105. But since the door panels and door harness i have are from a 00 si, i just wanted to know if i would be able to save 60 bucks and make the 96-98 harness work.....

Quite a few differences, mostly number of wires in plug and number of plugs. Definitely stick with the same model type, 96-98 with 96-98 and 99-00 with 99-00. They will not plug into each other with modifications.
there are differences... however, you can use either one... if you want everything to be plug and play you must use the floor harness of your year car... I didnt bother going through the hassel of finding one of my year 96-98... I used one from a 99si... I cut all the wires not pertaining to the power windows, locks and mirror... then I cut all those clips and spliced it together. Used a relay and inline fuses just like it is when it comes oem. Heres my little write up...
