i just finished putting my b16 in about 2 weeks ago, first night i had it running my ignitor went out and i had to get my car towed home i replaced the ignitor and it ran great! and a few nights ago i was driving and i got on the freeway in second gear and right after i hit vtec it was about 6000 rpms my tach started to jump around and every time it would jump my car would bog!! this was making me very mad, it only happened during VTEC and it only bogs when the tach starts to jump? or the tach jumps when it bogs? somethin like that anyways, i was on the freeway and it was like the bogs wouldnt let me go past 7000 rpms! so when i got home i took off the distributor(because i had problems with my ignitor last week ) and my friend said that the screws on your ingnitor were loose so i took it apart and made sure everything is tight and clean put it back on and it didnt help!
does anyone know what this could be?? has this ever happened to any of your b16's?? now the bog is anywhere between 2750-7000 rpm's even if im at a steady rpm on the freeway it will bog and my tach will bounce a little and if i get on it it will hella bog and the tach goes crazy!!?!?! i replaced the ignitor again tonight and its still doing it?? what could it be?

i'm pretty sure you have a vacuum leak

 

how can it be vacuum related my tach is bouncing like crazy and it boggs at different rpms, and it idles like a champ! so i am thinking it could be the ignitor still i think im gonna buy a brand new one hope it works or theres 80$ down the drain,
