Default Noisy Steering

Hi,

I've got a JDM ITR, the problem is that the steering is noisy when parking and driving at low speeds, i sounds like a griding and there is a small amount of griding feel as well. The steering apears fine, no play or travel and the power steering is working as expected (the power steering pump was replaced recently).

Any Ideas what could be causing this?

have you checked the power steering fluid??

Could be a leak somewhere.

Even though you just had the powersteering pump replaced don't rule that out, could have been a defective unit.

Power steering fluid is fine (at the correct levels), I'm also getting a wining noise when reving the engine, i've thought it could be the water pump or power steering pump as its coming from that direction.
