Has anybody replaced their oem power antenna with a aftermarket unit ??

if so where did you buy it from ?? & was it a good replacement ??

 

id like to know, mine is broken. its kinda stuck...u can hear it trying to pull up and down switching from radio to cd mode heh

 

I bought an aftermarket non power one from Advance Auto Parts for my truck and like it a lot. I also like how it looks you can get it in black or chrome. I got black it is straight an inch or two the starts coiling up so it looks like a spring then turns back into a straight antenna I like it a lot also not to big. Here is a pic sorry it is so small photobucket resizes it to this size for me.

 

No experience with this on an Accord though as mine has the one in the rear window.

 

after running searches, looks like the s2000 antennas are the most popular ones to change your stock ones with.

this thread gives you specific step by step (with photos!) on how to do this. the installation is done on an 91 accord, but it should be just about the same.

 

The best looking antenna you can put on any honda if you want to replace the stock one is an OEM part.....just get a sexy S2000 antenna.....
