Default Exhaust for LS

OK so during work on Sat. another hole opened up in the exhaust. I wasnt bothered by the one right before the muffler. But this time it opened up right under the cabin and its really loud and obnoxious. So its time to replace the whole system.

I basically want the cheapest system avaiable be it stock replacement or some cheap performance one. But I dont want a bomb muffler on the end. I would prefer to stick with the same style muffler.

Any suggestions on where to look? I dont have any links to places that sell Acura parts because this is just my winter beater.

i would buy some ones used exhaust, my exhaust is not rusted very much and its ten years old. You can have a muffler shop re-do the piping or you could find a use one. Etheir way it should be 50-100 bucks

cheap suggestions if you're going to stick to an oem muffler would be ebay, honda-tech classifieds, or your local junkyard. another option is to just buy an aftermarket exhaust system since they're much cheaper than buying a brand new oem exhaust. exhausts like the apexi world sport, rs*r exmag, and greddy sp2 are all quiet exhausts that look fairly similar to the stock one.

IF you want something cheap, get a muffler shop to make custom pipes, then pick out a muffle of your choice. I have Apexi WS and I love it, not loud at all

CarQuest has them. They're pretty cheap. They sell the individual sections. I got them for the DX works great! GL!

Advance Auto has them too I believe.

I think I may go the Autozone route, thats if it isnt too expensive. I dont mind the car being as loud as it is right now. I took off the rear muffler cause it was rattling and it wasnt even hooked up. But my parents want me to fix it cause they think the exhaust might leak into the car and that wouldnt be good for me.

By the way saw your Sol today Dan, look like tinted windows, or maybe I never saw those before. Looks good with the front mount though.

i agree, go to a local custom exhaust shop, pick out a muffler, and have them make custom piping. this won't be too expensive and you'll get a good quality exhaust.
